January brought us three weeks of vacation on the beautiful Island of Oahu. As last year we joined our family in Lanikai with a perfect view on - sand, beach, bikinis, surfer and the Pacific Ocean. Jogging in the morning, dinner at Buzz's and sun in between.
We also took the opportunity to visit Hawai'i or the Big Island spending four days at the Orchid Resort. The big let-down: No major volcano eruption, no Manta Ray's. The big upside: Great food, fresh fish, great local produce. At points it reminded us of Switzerland - definitely a place to retire.
